I have two 12" JL Audio w6v2 subs. I'm currently borrowing an amp for them, but would like some suggestions to look at for my own. I'll take suggestions from all relms... cheapest solution, to medium solution, to highend solution to best solution over all. Just pretty much something that will be perfect match. Doesnt matter if its an older amp or a newer amp. |

Those subs are D4 impedance so you will need an amp stable at 1 ohm...recommended power is 600watts on each...
I would say a Hifonics BXi 1206D would be the cheapest choice...at around $200...
A Sundown SAE-1000D would be a pricier choice...at around $350-400...
What car do you have? Do you have a H/O Alternator? |

I would not give them 600 watts each! they are rated for 400, 500 is max I would throw at them. jl 1000/1 run it at 4 ohms. |

I take it they are D4's right? If so the Sundown will do it for sure. They are little more than $300 now days since the price increase, but still resonable. If interested shoot me an email.
