my friends w3v2 12" blew a few weekends ago. so he had a small sealed box for it(dont know the size this exact second...) that he just wanted to put another sub in... so what subs would you guys suggest? this guys a big cheap a$s too :P so keep the price low if possible. but i wanna ask a question that might avoid me doing this. His amp what is a Jl Audio A1200 is in protect mode(don't know why and don't know how to turn off) so right now the sub plays but its like really shitty and sounds like something is rattleing in the patented W cone... so is his sub blown or is it in some kinda crazy protect thingy.?

believe it or not the cvr 12 actually sounds pretty good in sealed.
