I have a subwoofer in an enclosure in my trunk and I noticed that I maybe getting better sound, vibration if I point it straight down at the trunk. The enclosure makes it so that it is touching the ground not the sub itself. But I'm not sure if sound quality is improved. Does this sound right and if so, is it safe to leave it like this? |

Uhh maybe? That sounds like it could be the term to describe it. I don't know much about car audio, I just came here today to get my question answered. Sry for being a noob. |

well if your down firing just make sure the sub has enough clearance for the excursion (amount the sub moves) so that it doesnt hit anything...as far as what postion sounds better your just going to have to try them out and see what sounds best to you |
