I have two 12" alpine type s. 4 ohm. they are 300 watts rms. I have a V12 alpine amp, cant remember the exact model but I KNOW that it when bridged it is 300x2 watts rms at 4 ohms. It should be a perfect match. I turn my car on and turn it up and it just wont hit unless i turn the loud function on my deck on and or turn the bass on the deck up which makes the sound quality sh*tty and worries me about clipping and ruining my subs. I had 2 crappy 12" kenwoods before the alpines with a pyramid amp and they hit hard with no problem, but i think i had the bass boost up (before i knew about clipping). What could be the problem? the box? |

i'll have to look at it but i know its pretty high. I set it to the manufactures suggestion. |

since u know little about the gain let me take a stab in the dark, wheres your low pass filter at and what headunit do you have? |
