i love the way the se's sound though. it still gets loud so i'd go with the se. |

it would be too close to call imo. i've owned both subs. the se sounds better than the type Rs though. |

yea those are did get pretty loud and they were only supposed to handle 300 rms each and i had them goto about 500rms a piece.. |

honestly Cvx>RE Se really depends on your listening habits and if you want something that everybody else has(cvx's) the CVX's get almost as loud as RE SX's..and sound decent in the lower mid and upper range..one of the best subs for the buck... |

I would have to go RE SE. I like their sound MUCH better. CVX's just don't do it for me. Both are nice subs though. |
