every car has a charging system but yours is stock. so if your running anything over 1000-1200 watts your going to need an H/O alternator and the big 3 done. how much is ur budget?

weren't the old XXXs rated at 1500 watts? I mean given they will take more, but still the 3250.1 is a little overkill. Not to mention RD is not the be all and end all that timmy makes it out to be. I would go with mmats amplifiers way before I went with RD. they have a smaller footprint, more efficient, and they are way underrated. I would buy a new alternator before you buy any amps though. check out excessive amperage, ohio generators, mean green, and couple others.

The old XXX were rated 1500 rms, and the new ones are rated 2000. Problem is, they are so inefficient, you need 2500+ to move the big woofer.

As for alts, I never liked Excessive Amperage, I have seen/heard way too many issues with them. I LOVE Ohio though :-)

Amp wise, the 3250.1 would be perfect. Gives head room and you can set gains low.
