That's gonna be a great system. Make sure to dampen your trunk lid heavily.

Sunroofs are so overrated. I have opened mine twice in a year.

I will be doing alot of dampening. Most likely about 80-100 sq ft in the trunk area alone.

The way i figure if i want a sunroof i could always have a after market one installed down the road

Hey man nice car. I actually have a friend that just bought one. Question - I have a 2006 monte carlo with the EXACT same stock stereo set up. And on that note I'm guessing your came with OnStar - My question is did you buy/use the door chime when installing that radio? I hear you need a special part to install an aftermarket radio called a door chime or something like that to keep the OnStar working.

you need a special wiring harness that cost anywhere from $130 to $150 depending on what all is included with the car.

IMO it's a nice looking car, but if I was going to get one it would have be the SS. 5.3L V8 :-)

I rented an 08 SS, white with tan leather int. It was really nice had a great factory V* rumble to it. Honestly I had no idea it was V8 actually just picked it out because it was pretty cheap to rent but when my wife said it had some b@lls and noticed it was to loud for a V6, told her to pop the hood. Overall it is a really nice car, rides sweet but had a lot of torque steer when you romp on it because of the front wheel drive. Honestly it would be a better rear wheel drive car. BTW my GTP is a heep faster than that V8, both being stock, Cubes VS supercharged... Polo.

It's been rising on average here $.04 a day. This is fucked up. And I just bought a big 5.4L V-8 truck.
