What do you mean "how it works"?

It plugs into a 12v power supply and then you turn it on.

I have a 2006 F-150 and just purchased a Magellan 1200 for $139 at CC. I love the little thing. You can request POI's, program multiple destinations, adjust all settings and sounds to your liking and it's as portable as disconnecting the power supply. The delay in position is very small and the accuracy impressive. All you do is punch in the desired address and go.

Paul is very happy.
