I've got 2 15" mags(d2) and i am trying to determine which mats amp to buy to adequately push them.

I hope to avoid buying the 1/2 ohm versions. So i've decided on a D2100.2.

Do you guys think that amp would sufficiently power both subs?

And does anyone know the actual output on this amp(websites quote 1550rms)...

Thanks

well bro that's a great brand but IMO.... why don't you try kicker ZX 2500.1

i think the mmats 3500D is one ohm stable.

You can use mmats by getting two (1ohm stable amps)

MMATS amps are top notch. The D3000.5(Half ohm stable) and the D3000.1(One ohm stable) that I've used were super efficient and put out more power than a Memphis 4Kw amp while sucking FAR less current. They were modded though but MMATS amps are no joke and the power to size ratio is just insane.

I'd prefer one amp and i am going with mmats.

How much watts do you figure i 'll get from the 3000.1 at 2 ohms?

Thanks

The Mags will be good off about 800rms a piece from that amp. Real nice system bud.

Yeah Kevin. There's no doubt about that.

Hey Yanks, how much is your mag seeing...and what amp are u currently using?

kevin, im trying to buy an amp with the RD alpha v2 in mind also, as i would be trying that sub out probably after i preview the new shallow mount mag ...

What's the most i can safely run on the alpha V2?

Im not seeing the D3000 mats amp on their website.

Does anyone know how much of a power difference there is, between the D3000.1 and the D2900.1 amps?

I'm giving my Mag just about 1000rms from a Hifonics 1206d. In a few months, I'll be giving it 900rms but on a much better amp.
