Will my Rockford Fosgate Power 1001Bd operate stable at 1 ohm? It will be powering a dual 2 ohm RE SX15 sub. If it is stable at 1 ohm, how many watts should it put out rms? Any help, thanks.

According to the owners manual its not stable down to 1 ohm. Ive read it can be wired to 1 ohm and run fine but you will shorten the life of the amp and if you have a warranty on the amp void it. If I was you I wouldnt do it. Trade your sub for a DVC 4 ohm if possible.

Do not run that amp @ 1 ohm. I did that with the same amp and it burned up 3 days later.
