Hi,

I'm having a problem with an alarm system that came installed with a used vehicle I just bought. I think it's the Viper 476. FCC ID is EZSDEI476. The problem is it's in passive alarm mode. I know hitting the 'unlock' key on the transmitter is supposed to disarm the alarm but that only works with the active alarm mode.

What happens is I press the 'unlock' key and I hear the two beeps indicating it's been disarmed but thirty seconds later my doors lock and the system arms again. Anybody here know how to disable this?
