Old PPI amps = some of the best ever made IMO

New ones = still good but not like the old ones.

Assuming it's in decent condition and rated properly any 2,000 watt RMS amplifier is a steal for $250.

i think its a good deal he will take 200 works fine. its is an old one cause it has two 4 gauge power inputs instead of 1 0gauge. http://www.precisionpower.com/amps/pcx2400.asp but according to the web site it only does 1600 bridged @ 2ohms. I also have a hifonics 2006d 2000rms but its more like 1500 rms at 1 ohm. which is better. which one should i stick with.

That is one of the newer ones. But still,

PPI > Hifonics

Also, that amp says it does 800x2 at 2 ohms, which probably means that 1600w bridged is at 4 ohms.
