hey guys, just got my new AQ-1200 in the mail today. Thing looks great. Only problem is that the terminals are not large enough for 0 gauge wire even though in the manual, it says to use 0 gauge. Anyone know anything about this? |

4 awg is all you need for an efficient 1200w amp. But of course it never hurts to have bigger wire. |

Nice man. Get some pics on here. If your wire is too big then just trim it down some until it will fit. |

I was thinking about trimming down the wire, but I was wondering if I could get something like this (click link below) to put my 0 gauge in, and then have the smaller wire come out the other side. This way, i'll have more of an option to where I can put this amp in my trunk. This wouldn't hurt anything would it? Pics will be up shortly along with new box. |

lookin good bro. that amp is nice. i was thinking about gettin one for myself, but that would require me to send in my HDC315 to have it changed to D2 so i can run at 1 ohm. |

Theres no point in doing that, when you can get a Kicker ZX1000.1, just as good an amp for around the same price. |

"What are you going to do with that ASA1500.1D?" To tell you the truth, I have no idea. I no longer have the original box, so I can't store it anywhere. Right now it's just chillin in my room on top of a table. I was thinkin about having it fixed, but that would prob be as much as the amp, which is why I got the AQ1200. Unless someone feels like buying it, it will prob just sit here for the end of it's lifetime. |
