I'm deciding between one of these 2 amps to power my 2 12" Alpine type S subs, the RMS is 300 watts and the max is 600 watts per sub and they are dual voice coil at 4Ohms + 4Ohms per sub. Which would be a better amp for them, a JBL BP600.1 or an Alpine MRD-M301? I can get them both for about the same amount of money. Which one would be better?

get a jbl 600.1 you would have to get two alpine amps because they only put out 300w rms total

a JBL would be nice because you wire your subs to 1 ohm and the 600./1 puts 600w rms at 1 ohm and yer good to go

go with the JBL 600.1 like bacon said that will be the best choice for good clear sound and hard hitting bass
