Hey guys i am planning on getting a component set of Alpine type r 6.5's for my prelude. I also want to put maybe a 10" type r sub in the trunk. Do i need two amps or can i get just one.

The main thing right now is the 6.5's.What amp would feed them just enough power. I am sorta on a budget, so the cheaper the better, but i want a quaity amp.

Better to run a 2 ch amp for your speakers and a class D amp for your subs.

Alpine equipment is good all around, and that is a very nice HU.

One of the few mainstream brands where you can build a decent system out of all the same brand equipment.

i'd say why don't you grab an ED nine 5, it's a 5 channel and you will satisfy your expectations.
