k well i have a 15 CVX and im selling it....u think 2 12 inch Type R's would sound nice and loud....u think louder then the 15 cause that sub gets reallly loudd

Two alpine type r's in the right enclosure Will get louder then 1 cvx 15 in its optimal enclosure. have owned them both. Hope this helps.

i personally hate the new line of alpine subs they are more a sq sub so if your going for sound pressure dont use them but if you can find some old school type r's h3ll yeah do it
