What would the Best amp to get the hardest hitting bass from my 12" type r under 500 dollars? i had a Boss 1600 Watt amp but it didnt work cause the ground terminals were bad and cut out every 10 seconds. Thanks in advance for the input.

in my opinion and from experience, i would say that the best amp for you would be the JL 250/1. it will give u a gauranteed 250 continuous watts, and with minimal wiring problems.

jbl bp300.1 would be a better choice - alot less $$ and puts out 300w rms at 2 or 1 ohm so it wont matter if your sub is dual 4 or 2 ohms
