Hey guys, i'm doing a DIY project for my house, I have my choice of a plate amp 350RMS, 550RMS, and 1300RMS.. I'm looking for a good sub for the price, I probably don't wanna spend more than $500 on the sub.. it doesnt have to be the best sub in the world but I would also like to know what kind of enclosure to use with the sub you suggest to me. This will be going in my room, not in a car. Thanks guys! |

I have to admit this one looks very nice, the 1300RMS amp would do for this sub. I really like the steel center of the cone too This is a nice suggestion Chad, anyone else have any possible suggestions? |

I would say go with the RL-S as well. I have heard the Elite is a low-end monster too, though. |

At what ohm load does the 1300watt RMS amplifier do that power? I'm guessing at 4ohms... on a budget of $500 I'd look for an 18'' Eclipse Ti. |

^ That would be a good choice as well. Especially considering the RL-S is a strange impedance. |

Thanks for these suggestions guys, I really appreciate it. I would prefer that it would be possible for just a 4ohm or 8ohm load with whatever sub you are recommending me, as my amplifier is untested with higher/lower loads.. and again, I only want one sub |
