first of all, this little unit isn't some fancey eq with alot of options. i picked this unit up for its simplicity.

its a 5 band eq/10v line driver.

it has a bass level control and the lpf frequency knob on the front face for easy access.

let me just say it did what i expected it to do and more. it doesn't make the sound all processed. it has a real clean sound to it. what really impressed me the most is the clearity of the bass. it didn't make it louder but made it sound better. big difference with it and with out it.

here are some pics. i had to use my phone so the quality isn't that great.

I have mad respect for Chad, he's always installing late at night after he gets home from work just to show us his new gear or because he's anxious. :-)

lol i know. anyways you know now.

if you look at the pic below, you can see that the eq is only a half din. the slot is for a din so it was too big for the eq. so the guy at the shop i bought it from cut a piece of mdf. he then used a belt sander to make the face of the baffle arc a bit. he then cut the slot for the eq. after doing that, he got a knife and cut around the hole so the face of the eq is flushed. to finish it off, he used black textured paint so it matches the mounting kit.

thanks guys.

yeah gus. chad didn't charge me anything to do that.

state, it boosts up to 10v. doesn't necessarily mean its 10v constantly. but yes it would be higher than what my hu would be doing by itself.

if you have space right below your headunit then it should be a piece of cake. but in my case it wasn't like that.
