well im going to start building my vented box for my 12w7, its going to be to exact JL box specs from there web page.
But im not sure if i want to push it with a JL500/1 Or a JL1000/1 money is sorta a issue. but dose anyone else have the same setup with the 500/1?
And if you would alter the box geometry or tunning please let me know. |

The 500/1 is a perfect match for the 12w7. The 1000/1 would be a perfect match for the 13w7. It will sound great. |

yea the 500/1 will power th 12w7 very well. i wouldnt recomend pushin it with a 1000/1 because 1)very much more expensive and 2) it would over power the sub, its a very powerful amp. my friend has the 500/1 matched with a 12w7 and it hits, no joke. |
