My moms head unit got a cd stuck in the HU a while ago. I got the CD out but now there is a silver metal strip in the CD player that prohibits any CD from going into it. Is there a way that I can either remove the HU and make that go away or just make it go down without removing the HU? And if i must remove it does anyone have a good guide to remove it? Im having trouble finding one.
So I disconnected the battery for a few minutes and it reset itself, but now whenever i put a CD in(a real one or burned one) it just says check disc after about a minute. Does this mean that the only way to fix it is to have it repaired or get a new one?
