ok theres a guy sayin that the kx1200.1 can be dropped down to 0.5 ohm wen it is only rated at 1 ohm...heres what he said...
This is a great amp that offers alot of power. It was briefly used for a little less than two weeks before being traded out for 2 more of kicker powerful amps. This amplifier is still in great working and physical condition. It pushes out more than 1200 watts at 1 ohm and is even possible to bring the load down to less than half (.5) ohm. trust me i still have one that I'm using on 3-dual 2ohm kicker subs and it jus sounds rediculous. |

I mean you probably could drop it to .5ohm for a short period of time if you know what your doing. I would suggest it though. |

yea i was gonna say lol...so then i would b able to wire 3 2ohm subs for an ohm rating of 1.33333 that would b stable correct?? |

you can run a kx at .5 on good charging iv talked to a bunch of people that have done it. the guy isnt retarded at all unless hes running 2 on a 60a alt and a yellowtop. |

I like hearing all these good things u guys have to say about kx1200.1's since I just picked one up not too long ago... can't wait to get it fired up, but it's too cold to work on my car and I don't have a garage so..... I will wait. |

There is no way I would run 4 of those amps, they just take up to much room for what you get. I had 4 SX1250's and only ever used 2 because of the room restraint. There are many a single amp out there that will blow all four away and less than 1/2 the space IMHO...Polo.. |
