Take two good quality amps rated at low THDs. Would somebody like to tell me what makes one an "SQ amp" and another one not. haha. I dare you to try and tell the difference between those amps. |

If you get zapco get the comp series. The refs are good, dont get me wrong but the competition are crazy. Maybe try and find a used C2K 3.0x? For the price I would probably go with the DLS though. I cant see myself spending $650+ on the zapco that does 75x2 @4ohm... its pretty stupid if you think about it. |

Haha yeah... You would have to get the DLS Ult A2. I didnt even notice you put the TA2...that things crazy. Mobilesq has the A2 for 440+shipping, but they go for like 550 in shops. Id almost rather paying the extra 100 tho...never know what could happen. You could also do the DLS Ref RA20...rated at 100x2@4 but its really closer to 140-150. |

I hate to throw another amp into the mix...but i have to. Helix B2 Precision 80x2@4ohm@12volts. I would put it above the DLS A2 and Zapco ref but not quite as good as the zapco comp 3.0x. I think they are close to 800 new...but if you can get one used it would be awesome. |

ok i am only thinking of spending 500 or less. the shop where i got my dls speakers gave it to me for less than mobilesq so i am sure the amp will be less too. if i can get the Ult A2 for around 400 bux it would be sweet. the zapco c2k is just too pricey for me though. i can't be spending that much money on component amps. no matter how much i want to brag. lol. |

The C2k is nice, the dc line is more affordable, and a killer line of amps. I do like the tubes in the DLS tho. Tough choice chad. But if your going tube, look at Butler and Helix too. |

''''''its a basic 5 band eq/10v line driver''''' hey that 10v is pretty good - only other pre i can think of right now is soundstream 5x0 & 6x0 ...that 10v makes a really noticable difference & its convenient too .... |
