Recone it with a flat wind if you want 2500 RMS and 94.2 DB @ 1watt.

Fs will drop down to upper 20's after break in If you tune 32-34ish and set your subsonic at your f3 you should be ready to roll.

Personally i like them in a 4 cube box tuned to 36-37hz with an f3 around 32-33hz.

With alphas we make them to your wants, Got guys who only want 1 spider for sound quality and 1000-1500w, got guys who want 2 spiders for 1500-2000w or dual spider with flat winds for ground pounders. The design was never for pure SPL it just happened that 50hz+ with 5+k on the reg dual spiders produce excellent numbers.

We will have a few guys running dual spider alphas at heat wave Austin and a couple with flat winds.

So in a couple months i can get some honest drop in tests with flat winds vs round and at same and diffrent power.

Guess it just depends on your likes.

Another thing is 2500w rms on the flat winds is with clean power.

hey Steve, are you getting discounted tickets to get into heatwave? that sh1t is expensive and I would really like to help out since RD will be in the area. I've got my 12" alpha tuned to ~31hz right now.
