Can't say I've ever heard either of those. But for what it's worth, CDT's HD series are very good. |

its kinda tricky... Depth from wall at 2.2” (56mm) seems to fit any magnet diameter. Past that depth (or at least at 2.45” or greater depth), magnet diameter becomes significant i am told that the DLS UP6 fit, as well as the JL Audio C5-650s. the 650s have a mounting depth of 2.54" and a magnet diameter of 3.44". |

and budget for speakers only is roughly 250. can push it a little for speakers that are a lot better. and btw, those JLs are supposidely just a little too big magnet wise, and require some adjustments/mods. thanks! p.s. exige, have you heard the EF-61NEOs? i wonder how they compare to the HDs. have heard them and love em. |

As a CDT dealer I have used the EF Neo, they're actually sitting next to me(new set) and they're good for the depth. Lack the midbass a normal set would give but they have an nice warm sound to them. OP, i've sent you a message check on it. |
