my friend has 2 12" xplod subs and an 800 watt rms amp and if he plays a hard hittin song ( bass i love you - basstronics ) they start smellin kinda funny?......is it jus them breakin in or somethin bad?

hes either putting too much power to the subs or hes clipping the amplifier...that smell is bad dont do it or you will blow the subwoofers
