i just got my aq1200.1 in the mail thanks to chris i looked at the wiring diagram and for each + and - it shows going from the sub, then branching into 2 each (total of 4 wires now) 2 into the + and then 2 into the - is this right or can i just use 2 of the channels instead of all 4? because wont using all 4 change the ohm load? |

It makes no difference AT ALL. They are wired in parallel inside the amp. And there is only one channel, thats ehat a mono amp is. |

thats what i didn't know, because the pic in the manual says to use all 4, but i thought that would change the ohm load?? but i guess as long as its wired to 1 ohm from the sub, and if i use all 4 the load will still only be 1 ohm? it wont double or cut in half? thanks guys, sorry i was misunderstanding you, i just wanted to make sure, i've never seen a mono amp with 4 imputs... lol |
