Well, a guy came by and wanted 4 CVR 12's in his crown vic. The deal was that he only wanted to box in the center area of the trunk and it had to be level w/ the shelf up next to the seats. Not really enough room the way he wanted it, but he was dead set on it. Here is how it turned out. Close shave getting all 4 12's in.
8ga wire into the box.
Only going to be 1.6cuft per sub and 3 4" flares, but hell thats what he wanted. Shouldn't sound bad though. Tuned to 37hz on paper. |

As far as the space between the subs, I didn't have the CVR's to test-fit. But with Clarion SW1251's its ~1/8" between the subs. |

No, those are not PSP ports. They are Xscorpion ports. Not as wide a flare as PSP 4's but look OK. They are stock length in that box (~10"), it just worked out that the tuning was good like that. I had 4 at the shop that we ordered to tryout, after seeing them we ordered PSP's. I actually finished this box before we got the 4 and 6" PSP's in today. |

Yea, Xscorpion makes some good stuff. Those ports are alil off, but otherwise their assesories are nice. We carry all Xscorpion wire, RCA, amp kits, etc. Great prices on that stuff to, we were carrying Hooker but Xscorpion was just as good but alil less. They just went to the super flexable casing on their 1/0ga wire too . Same price as before, only ALOT more flexable. Full sized too, i have a hard time fitting it in my 20.1's terminals. |
