Okay, as some of you may know Quentin King bought my Hifonics BX1500D for 200 dollars shipped. He paid through Paypal and I sent the amp the day of payment and recieved the tracking number which I IMMEDIATELY texted to him and I still have that text on my phone. That was on February 20th. He recieved the amp February 25th and confirmed that by texting me to say "thanks for the amp." I proceeded to ask him about the condition of the amp and how it was packed. He replied, "Looks good got a sh1t lot of foum Lol."

Of course I assured him the amp worked perfectly and he then confirmed that the amp worked via text saying, "Yep i got my se's on it right now at 1 ohm."
Today I recieved an e-mail from Paypal that said:

As a result, the following transaction has been reversed:
Transaction Date: Feb. 19, 2008
Transaction Amount: $200.00 USD
Buyer's Email: kingandsons07@aim.com
Buyer's Name: Quentin King

The account is under my mom's name because it has her credit card on it, but I'm the user of it (hence my email address is Paypal username).
What the hell can I do now? I didn't recieve any notification prior to this about the transaction being contested, nor did I recieve any word from Quentin about reversing the transaction. I tried calling him, but his phone doesn't ring it just stays silent for a minute and then goes to voicemail. I left a voicemail and have recieved no word back. What should/can I do? |

file a claim you have $200 of protection, might take a month or so though
once you provide tracking you should be fine |

Hmm I can't find it, go into the customer service center or call them.
I've had thousands of transactions of paypal never had this happen to me for that reason specified.
Paypal usually requires a reason for the refund.
I think he told them he sent money by accident and they instantly refunded him. You should be able to reverse that. |

Well he never filed a claim on paypal and it seems like it could be bank reversal. Regardless, for some reason the transaction was flagged ineligible for seller protection, which is bullsh1t. The address I shipped to was confirmed, I paid for insurance on the package, and I can provide tracking information on the package. But basically what the Paypal guy said was that either Quentin basically "bounced a check" over the internet or he is scamming me by filing a claim with his bank saying the charges were fraudulent, which is also bullsh1t. Basically, unless the seller protection was overlooked and I was covered then I have to pursue Quentin himself because Paypal refuses to cover it, which is the bullsh1t of all bullsh1t because I did everything they said. So now it looks like someone in Lincoln, Nebraska will have to pay Quentin a visit unless I get the money back from him. |

Yeah, I mean it just sucks that I did everything right just to be scammed and have Paypal f*ck me over. I sent them an e-mail regarding this as well as the phone call. Hopefully it was just him not having the funds in the bank so I can get my money back. |

I find that to be bullschit! If PP cleared the transaction they automatically should be liable if he bounces it. They gave you the OK of his payment you shipped it and his bank pulled it back, they never should have allowed the bank access to your account without prior dispute or concent! Call them and tell them so...Polo.. |

I filed a claim with Paypal that will be dropped if I receive a certified bank check within the next couple of days. I think I deserve express delivery of that check to say the least Quentin.
Also, I still haven't received an answer as to why you allowed the bank to withdraw from my account when you knew that it was money you spent? Can you answer that? |

if not he can cut a check tomorrow, send it out via fedex standard overnight or ups next day air saver and have it to you by thursday at 3 PM. |

It still doesn't add up, but as long as I get my money by Friday I'm cool. If not, I have texts saying he received the amp and that it worked. I also have a tracking number and email from him saying he made the payment. So if he doesn't feel the need to repay me by Friday then I guess something else will have to be done. |

There's no misunderstanding. He knowingly TOOK the money back from Reece. It's not something that just happens automatically. The problem these days is that people are too trusting. Look over on CA.com and you'll see that tons of scammers have feedback with people saying "He doesn't seem like the type." or "I met him and he was a cool guy." none of that crap matters. If I want to make a quick buck by scamming I could and I have nothing but positive feedback VIA Ebay and CA.com and from a couple members here. Who knows...maybe some day I'll go on a crack spree and scam you all. |

x2 ... Rob you certainly don't have to like him, but at the very least give him a little respect for trying to fix it (no matter what you or anyone else feel the initial intent was). Feel free to never deal with him, but give him the opportunity to at least regain part of his name by fixing this. He called me and got my address and sh1t and I even talked to his "banker" (just gave him my name). He said he sent the money priority, but I still wouldn't ever do business with the guy again. He said he told his bank to lock his bank account that is on Paypal. Why my money was withdrawn is still beyond me though. I would think the bank would ask which transactions was fraudulent or not and if they didn't then the bank isn't doing good job. Oh well. If I get my money I'll be happy. |

If you make a deal with me and something goes up you won't have to worry about me ignoring your calls or E-mails over and over and you wouldn't have to worry about anything like that in the first place. I'd contact someone ASAP if money was "accidentally" taken from someone it shouldn't have been. I love how blind and gullible some of you guys are.
