So i think i have the wifes system figured out and now i need your input.
I came out to:
1. 12" Alpine type-r dual 4 ohm $114.95
2. 6.5" Alpine type-x components $169.95
3. MTX TA 4501 (500W RMS @ 2 ohm) $179.95
4. MTX TA 3202 (100W RMS X 2 @2ohm)$89.95
5. Alpine CDA 9588 $219.99
TOTAL PRICE = $ 744.84 |

how do mtx amps suk please explain they are good built budget amps. mtx has one of the lowest failure rates out of any brand look it up. And it isnt like she really cares like shes gonna be competing |

My brother owns the mtx ta 4501 its a solid amp and is under rated the true rated power is 600 watts rms...that will drive the alpine type r 12 just fine...the mtx ta 3202 is ok if you dont want to spend more...but if it was me id upgrade the power a bit for the components to a mtx ta 5302 at 75 rms at 4 ohms per channel for an extra 40 dollars...heres the link

i agree with the comps kevin, mtx are solid amps i have not had any problems with mine. the ta4501 is actually closer to 600w, my birthsheet says 625w |

i had the zx1000.1 and that was the cleanest sounding , yet powerful amp ive had, and ive had alot, im impressed with kickers past few gens of amps, and alpine type r's you cant go wwrong clean sounding bass, alpines also amazing |

Yeah. I'm having a slight problem though. I'm thinking about leasing a new truck and don't know if I wanna install it in a leased ride. Got the box built and all as well.
