Hey, i have a question about a head unit, the Pioneer deh-p4900ib. Im getting a fi bl with a AQ 1200d amp and i was wondering if this would be a good head unit...kinda new to this stuff so i dont know much...im also kinda on a budget...but any feedback would be awesome..thanks

I don't recommend pioneer at all. They have too many rca issues.

also sorry i forgot to mention my budget price is 160 or less....what would be the best pioneer for in that price range...thanks

I think that price range does not open up a lot of Pioneer headunits. The DEH-P4000UB should fit the bill nicely.

Alpine, JVC, eclipse, Clarion all make good HUs that you don't see time after time having issues like the pioneers.

awe i see, some of those hu are good, im planning on getting a JVC next time, but for now i still like my p690UB, i just dont like the rotary nob, its slippery
