I bought 100mF and 68mF capacitors

to filter my speakers, however when i ran them inline with the positive speaker cables it had no effect. The speakers play but nothing is being filtered |

return them. What are you trying to do? bass block speakers?
And when you mean you ran them inline, you mean like this.
