one of my friends is looking to replace all factory from his 2000 volvo....pretty weird setup. 6 3/4's for the front with tweeters mounted on the dash. has 6 1/2's for rear in the door along with behind the seats. wants to keep it below 500 for a component set for fronts and 2 sets of rears. all are probably goign to be 6.5's....probably a 2 channel amp for fronts and 4 ch. for rears. any suggestions? no competition or anything just some good sound quality |

If he wants SQ, he needs to forget the rears all together. Spend $500 on his front stage and it will do nicely. |

right when i posted x2...i was just sitting here thinking....goddamn we need a thread stickied for the guys just gettin into car audio....just an info thread.
that statement will never end, thanks to car manufacturers who put rear speakers in cars. |
