I herd that mmats do not use as much power as other large amps , which make voltage drop which cause clipping less likely and this is also why they stay so cool. What i am trying to get at is i own a mmats 3500.1 which and i have a 170 HO alt is this going to be enough ??? Also does this thing push 3500 or 2700 ???

I would want a bigger alternator, but you can make that work. But get a good battery if you have a stock one.
