i recently bought a kenwood 1000w mono amp and i have it pushing 2 12 inch memphis subs?im just wondering if this is a good amp |

I've seen a LOT of owners of the k'wood class D's reporting problems/failure. One of the more common negative reports I can recall. Hopefully yours lasts a while. |

my friend tyson had a kenwood excelon amp on his 10w7 and it did okay and never had problems but he tried telling me it was better than a 500/1. |

Kenwood is one of the worst brands of amplifiers....... they have a very high failure rate b/c their power supplies are crap |

In power obviously not. When the kenwood blows, just make sure to get a good quality amp next time. |

Thats a little low...... you can get a good 1000w amp for $250-300 Does it need to be 1 ohm or 2 ohm stable (what ohm coils are the subs) |
