I'm going to get 2 dual kicker cvr 10's 2 ohms. Alot of places offer that package deal with the subs loaded into a ported kicker box. I just need someone to give me input as to whether i should go with the loaded kicker box or just try and find my own vented box and put the subs in the box myself.

It depends....

I'm guessing you havent bought the subs yet.

Are you handy with tools? Think you can build a box yourself? (wood, glue, screws, clamps, saw)

Usually those package deals are not worth the money. Especially @ places like BestBuy and Circuit City.

How much did you plan to spend on that package deal?

i'm not comfortable with building my own box honestly. i'm ordering the loaded box online and its listed at like 189.99 loaded with the subs here's the link

http://www.gooddeals18.com/product/DCVR102?meta=FRG

the other packages i found for same exact thing were like 349.00. so if this is loaded box is good of course i'll get it cuz its alot cheaper. but if it isn't i already have a box lined up that i'm gonna buy.

you could build your own box for very cheap....
all supplies at home depot only costs in the vicinity of 40-50

i can design you a box...better then spending uneseccary money.
