Hi all,

I just got a new amp for my 2 kicker 8in cvr's. I used to have a rockford fosgate punch amp that worked well for about a year until for some reason my fuses were getting extremely hot and melted the system (im not sure if it was bypassing the fuses or what but the fuses would never blow just melt). Anyways, I was sold into a monoblock infinity amp that pushes 1300watts. When I hooked the amp up and connected the RMS cables the subs immidiatly started to play at a constant low tone. When I unplugged the RMS cables they stopped. I checked all of my wires and the internals in the box's but nothing looks out of place. Someone please help I am completely stumped.

i would check the source of your RCAs..

it sounds like you;re getting some nasty interference or your source is very poor.. or there is some kind of loose connection
