Nick...
Shhhhhhhhhhush.
(I forgot you came by and saw the new booklets)

But yea, its a new Autotek :-)
We only carry Autotek amps/sub from Maxxsonics at the shop, no Crunch/Hifonics.

Price tag in shop on this amp is only $499.95 and we can work on that price
We are going to try this lil fella on a DD3512 or 18" @ 1ohm.
I'll get some power measurements after imp rise.

Oh, here is alil hint.
Its 'rated' 1500wrms.
At what load, I'm not gonna say

Not going to say its under/over-rated yet, I don't know as I have not even hooked one up yet. I'll compare it to a few amps on our sound wall and get back w/ more info. But, I looks to be a mean lil amp for the $ and we have never had any trouble out of Autotek.

Should make a nice seller this tax season :-) We are already getting special priced amp/sub/box-combos lined up w/ this amp in mind.
DD subs will most likely find their way into cars w/ this amp given em alil juice.

Hey Canaan, I'm just wondering? How big of a town is the shop in, and about how many installs do you think you do per week?

By me saying it is a Korean made amp in no way shape or form a bad thing! That amp is made by the same designers that built the IA40.1, DD Z1a and majority of the other big name, want you to think they make there own USA amps, lmfao. My figure guess would be right around 2K+ @ 1ohm but .35ohm burp capable and is 16V compatable or at least can be modded to do so... ... Polo.

Monroe is only ~52-55k, but its a 'twin-city'. West Monroe is ~15k

We are the little guys in town. And there are ~5 shops in Monroe/West Monroe. The shop w/ Kicker/Memphis/Rf is the big shop.

Some weeks I do very few installs...some I don't stop. Alot of quick stuff like HU/Tweeter installs. I only did 1 install today, but tomorrow may be 3-6.
I never know, but usually when it rains, it fvckin pours.

Also, as Polo said...some of the meanest amps on the market are made in Korea.

Strange thing is, one of my roommates is Korean.
And my other roommate is Thia.

Kinda weird that my roommates are from where a huge % of car audio is made.

Got to play around w/ the mystery amp today.

We mounted one of these amps on the sound wall today. It took the place of last years Clarion DPX11500 on the board.

Did alil testing and its a pretty stout lil amp.
At 1.7ohm reactive, it did 340w more than an M1a at 1.83ohm reactive.

I put I on a DD2512 @ 2ohm dcr and it was alil more power than I would actually want to run on a DD2512. So, I swapped it over to the DD3518. It had that 18" moving pretty good :-)

Sounded great. It was also dam nice on 2 DD1512's, maybe just alil much though. And it was FAR too much for a pair of Clarion PXW1252's at 1ohm. Even w/ a perfectly clean signal, they cot stinky fast and looked like they were about to jump out of the box.

We are replacing my roommates DD2512/MB2 combo w/ this amp and a DD3512. We will be adding a batt also.
