I calculated out the RMS from the birth sheet and that amp puts out 208.5 per channel. Perfect for the Hex. You got lucky son. Do work. |

Polo... the IA isn't going to give me the power I want at 1.5 ohms... it also has a fuggin huge footprint and draws a shitload of amps. |

What about the power figures for that amp @ 16-18v? The amp I got from him had not a single mark on it not even from mounting, I love mine but go ahead and tell me anyways... Polo... |

polo heres what scottie said in quote... "I'm sure they can do 5kw on 12v, I've tested them to do well over 7500 in my van at .7 but what they do for burps and the actual power you get when playing music are two different things. Just because the amp is hooked up at 1.5ohms means nothing.... music is dynamic and the impedance is constantly changing. The only thing that matters is, do they play stronger than most any other amp out there, and the answer is yes... especially in this price range..." he also said they draw 500 amps... i dunno if ill be able to run it drawing that much power. |

lOl fcking e-puksticks and there delay! Ya he is right but I'll tell you my Z1a is quite a bit bigger and both on the same input power and sub setup the IA hits harder and hasn't broken yet. Come on 500A ain't sh!t, lOl. I have two 2200's and a BatCap 8400 (16V) and it isn't even hooked to the alt, just start collecting batteries and you will be fine... BTW I have dibs on your 5200 ($500 shipped).... Polo. |
