here in the next couple of weeks I'm going to be installing 2 10" compVR's in my girlfriends jeep, just wondering if 4 gauge power wire will be adequate for 600w RMS?

Yes, I don't know of any 600w rms amp that would need bigger wire than that

Me either but an extremely inefficient amp would need more current of course but 600 watts RMS isn't much so you should be fine on with 4 gauge.

my system works very well with that wire. for your speakers tho, they say to use 12 ga wire. thats what i did. 12ga speaker wire is in my car and every other car i've seen or worked on. this is only for subs.
