it's only 3000 watts at 14.8v and 2600 at 12.5v

Thats why I was about to say.......... that amp only does ~2600w


Do you have need exactly 3000w. You couls get a Kicker ZX2500.1, great quality amp and they do 2600-2900 watts

Two SAZ-1500Ds strapped or other 1 ohm stable strappable amps? The Sundown's will put out ~3500, according to tests on SSA.

thought about that too... only problem being the current draw two amps would have compared to one... i might have to suck it up and buy some new batts though

get the kicket 2500.1...you wont notice much IF any differnence between 2500 and 3000. since it takes twice the power to get 3db. maybe a few tenths difference. best bet is the kicker
