Hey Michael, Just ground the wire to any metal under the dash and it will play the dvd any time. But you know that it is not legal to watch a dvd when car is moving so I am not telling you to do this,Okay |

I have the same receiver. Can I just attach it to the same ground (black wire) that comes out of the unit? |
