its said true audiophiles only use components,my question is,what about the mids,all i see is lows & highs.if someone was seeking true sq qouldnt u want mids in there.also what is the best 4 way components to use on a headunit,best soundin for 60 or less a pair

That what I thought..

I suppose maybe you are thinking about sets that also have like an 8" midbass? That'd be a 3 way set.

$60 or less a pair? The only you can get with that really is coaxials unless you want some top of the line Pyle comps.

You should know that it's better to save now and get the better a little later on down the road. Unless you have nothing, in that case I would do it.

WTF is the question again?

Compnents have a tweeter for highs and a midrange driver for mids....... then your sub handles the bass.

Hahahaha so do 2 ways...... the bigger speaker is the midrange/midbass driver. In a 3 way system you have tweeter, midrange, and midbass drivers. 2 way is plenty for car audio.


Component speakers don't do "lows". Even the best components don't do well below ~70 hz due simply to their small size. That's why you need sub(s).
