I drive a 1994 Isuzu Trooper with over 139,000 miles. One of my stereo speakers occasionally will stop working and then later come back on - either after a short time or, at times, a longer time. I can sometimes get it to work again, especially if I increase the volume. Any suggestions on what the problem may be?

I'm betting that the speaker makes a buzzing or rattling sound when it is working.

Replace the speaker..replace all of them for that matter. A set of new Pioneers at Wal Mart will set you back about $50 and make your life much more enjoyable!
