What do you think? SQ is very important to me, but so is SPL. I'd like to run everything active. Will it work? I have to ask, someone usually finds a reason something can't work. This is theoretical, Im not buying anything yet.

Clarion DRZ 9255 Head unit

Seas Excel W18NX midbass
JL 300/4
both do 8 ohms with very high power

Morel Supremo tweeters
Audison VRx 4.300.2 (may be overkill?)

Image Dynamics CD2 Comp horns (full body)
Audison LRx 2.150

Image Dynamics IDMAX12v3D2
Zapco C2K6.0
can be run in 2 ohm mode as well to run 2 subs if I decide later.

The comps will act as a midrange, being that their extreme upper and lower ranges suffer. This will give me the SPL I need too.

The Morel Supremos will be crossed over a little higher than normal to supplement the horns.

Everything has its own amp in order to have infinite control over each speaker's output.
