I have a sigle cab 1994 ranger and i have 4 5x7 infinty reference speakers 2 in the door and 2 in the sides in the back where they belong...but when i turn up the volume and add much base they just dont sound right because the are small and cant handle it. So i am looking at getting 2 6x9 and placing them in between the seats where i have taken out the big arm rest. Im not sure what speakers i need i am looking for base because i have the highs already. I also need to know what type of amp to get. My 5x7 are just hooked up to my kenwood head unit also. so i would need an amp. Im not very good with the technical stuff so if you could maybe point be in the right dierection thankyou for any help and i am asking for this for christmas so help asap would be nice thanks

If you need bass, get a sub. 6x9's are a joke.

Get an amp, a sub, a truck box and you got some bass.

I had a Type R in a sealed box getting 500 from an old Soundstream REF in a extended cab Dakota. It made bass.
