My car has been at the dealership for a week.
The problem, on occasions, the car simply won't start. The engine turns over fine, but won't start. If I leave the car sit for a period of time it will start up fine. This period can be from a 10 minute wait to 48 hours.
The service tech said the car appears to being losing fuel pressure and has throughly checked everything. At first he said it may be the fuel pump, but now believes it's my alarm system causing the problem (It's a Viper Alarm model #560XV), I doubted him, but could this be true. It turns over but just won't start.
When it won't start, everything else works fine.
Once while driving on the inter-state, the car just quit. I pulled off to the berm and it fired right up. All has happened in the past 3 weeks.

We are having the same problem with an 86 Chevy pickup, just won't start. It did a couple of times, now nothing. We don't know how to unhook it or would do so.
