got a 97 neon and right now to keep up with the bass at low volumes i put 2 speakers on the ground behind the front seats but i was wondering if anyone knew of good spots to mount them in the front
i was thinking of taking the dash top off(it just pops off) and cutting holes for speakers under there but how well would they sound under the dash and stuff ?
anyways hope someone has some fresh ideas |

less is more. by a good set of speakers and an amp and install them correctly in your doors and you will be happy. |

question does it sound better if i run speaker wire from the door speakers to the amp instead of just taping into the stock wiring and amplifiying that ? |

yeah run new wire, the stock wire is usually very small and sometimes corroded. |
