I was in the middle of installing the Clifford Matrix 50.5X on a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution and as soon as I connected the siren output wire (brown) a low leveled siren sound started coming out of the siren. I connected all of the wires except the ones on the satellite, since I don't plan on using the remote start or starter kill feature.

I checked the wire and found that the brown siren wire has constant 2 (+) volts outputting from it. I guess that is why the sound is so low. How do I get rid of this constant low level siren sound? It just continues even when I arm or disarm the system. Is there something on the satellite that I need to connect? If so, is there a way to make that connection without using the satellite unit (like connecting the ribbon cable wires directly)?

Thanks in advance
