I bought a 2000 Explorer and want to put my old system in it. I have all of my old pieces except I need new speakers. Debating whether or not to get kicks and some new comps or just some coaxial 6x8s and put them in the doors.

I listen to almost exclusively heavy music. Metal and such.

Kick panels and components going to sound that much better than 6x8 replacements?

Also, if I was to go coaxial it would most likely be Focal 570CA, and the components would likely be some Boston SX60's.
